Property Management Services Authority Makes an Appeal to Property Management Companies and Practitioners for Prevention of the Novel Infectious Disease
In response to the continuous receipt of suspected cases in Hong Kong regarding the pneumonia of the novel coronavirus infection in the Mainland, the Property Management Services Authority makes an appeal to the property management companies and practitioners that they should pay attention to the latest information on infectious disease prevention measures published by the Centre for Health Protection. Property management practitioners are suggested to always keep in view of the hygiene condition of the properties they managed, as well as to remind owners of good personal and environmental hygiene, to manage the drainage pipers properly (such as pour about half a liter of water into each drain outlet (U-traps) regularly), so as to ensure environmental hygiene and reduce the risk of disease transmission in the community.
